The Briefed GDPR Certification is achieved by barristers who actively demonstrate an advanced understanding and implementation of GDPR within their own practice. Barristers who display this certification have achieved a high level of competence in a specialist GDPR exam and following a self-certification audit of their barrister practice, meet other core GDPR requirements which protects the integrity and safety of their client information and demonstrate on going dedication to GDPR compliance.The Briefed Directory will display only those barrister members who have successfully achieved their GDPR certification.
Use of this directory constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. Briefed reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.Â
Material displayed on the directory may not be copied, reproduced, or republished without the prior written permission of Briefed. Briefed hereby gives formal notice that any person found to be guilty of any abuse of this directory is liable to be pursued for any damage caused, and furthermore any damage caused to the intellectual property rights of Briefed.Â

At all times, Briefed disclaims all liability and responsibility for any direct, indirect or consequential data breach incurred by a barrister. The reliance on the Barrister GDPR Certification by any barrister or any third party to mitigate against any data breach investigation, sanction, and any subsequent consequences arising from such data breach, will at all times remain the liability and responsibility of the individual barrister’s practice. Briefed accepts no liability for any data breach caused by a barrister. The self-certification audit places the liability on the barrister to demonstrate their ongoing GDPR compliance requirements. Briefed accept no responsibility or oversight as to the barristers GDPR ongoing compliance.
Nothing in these Conditions of use shall exclude the Briefed liability for death or personal injury resulting from its negligence, nor its liability for fraudulent misrepresentation, nor any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
You agree that for the purposes of this clause, references to us include our shareholders, officers and employees, who shall benefit from this clause as a third party right. This Agreement is the entire agreement between You and Briefed and You agree that it will be subject to the laws of Northern Ireland and that any matter arising out of this agreement will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Northern Irish courts only.
